Day 4 of Cultivating Contentment
Reading: Colossians 2:6-7
Paul encourages us to be rooted and built up in Christ. Like a tree with deep roots that can withstand storms, our faith needs to be deeply rooted in Jesus to weather life's challenges. Reflect on your spiritual roots today. Are they shallow, easily uprooted by circumstances, or are they growing deeper into Christ? Consider practices that help you grow deeper - prayer, Bible study, worship, and fellowship with other believers. Ask God to strengthen your roots in Him, so you can stand firm and overflow with thankfulness, no matter what comes your way.
