Day 5 of Putting God First in Uncertainty

Be Strong and Courageous—God Is With You

Reading: Joshua 1:1-9; Isaiah 41:10

As you step into a new season, God's command to Joshua applies to you: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Notice that courage doesn't come from your own strength or from knowing how everything will work out. It comes from knowing where God is—and He is with you. In the emergency room, the difficult conversation, the uncertain future—God is there. He's not a casual observer; He's actively working on your behalf. You can face what's ahead not because you have all the answers, but because you have the God who does. Let this truth settle into your heart: wherever you go, He goes with you.

Reflection Question: What would change in your life if you truly believed God is with you in every circumstance?

Closing Prayer: "God, You are the source of all hope. Fill me completely with joy and peace as I choose to trust in You. Help me overflow with confident hope through the power of Your Holy Spirit. I make room for You in my life this year. Amen." (Romans 15:13)
