Day 1 of In Every Action...Love
Love Begins with God
Reading: 1 John 4:7-12
Love doesn't originate with us—it flows from God's heart to ours. Before we ever thought to love Him, He loved us sacrificially by sending Jesus. This passage reminds us that our capacity to love is directly connected to our relationship with God. When we refuse to love, we demonstrate that we don't truly know Him, because God's very essence is love. Today, reflect on how deeply God has loved you. Consider the cross, the ultimate expression of divine love. As you experience His love afresh, ask Him to fill you so completely that His love naturally overflows to others. Remember: we love because He first loved us.
