Day 1 of In Every Teaching...Truth
The Unchanging Foundation
Reading: Matthew 7:24-29
Like the wise builder in Jesus' parable, we must construct our lives on the solid rock of God's Word. Both builders completed their houses, both looked successful from the outside, but only the storm revealed what was truly underneath. In our culture where truth shifts like sand, God's Word remains constant. The storms of life—grief, disappointment, confusion—will come. What matters is not how much religious activity we've accumulated, but whether we've built our understanding on Scripture's unchanging truth. Today, examine your foundation. Are you building on the bedrock of God's Word, or on the shifting opinions of culture? When the rains come, will your faith hold firm?
