Prayer as Foundation, Not Fallback
Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; John 15:1-5
Like a phone that needs daily charging, our spiritual lives require consistent connection to our power source. Jesus reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing. Yet how often do we wait until our spiritual battery reaches critical levels before we plug into prayer? Today, examine your prayer life honestly. Is prayer your foundation or your emergency plan? The branch doesn't frantically grab for the vine when trouble comes—it remains attached constantly, drawing life continuously. This week, establish prayer as your starting point, not your last resort. Begin your day connected to the Vine, and watch how differently you navigate challenges when you're already plugged into God's presence and power.
