Love Requires Action
Reading: James 2:14-18
Faith without action is dead. Words of love ring hollow when they're not accompanied by deeds of love. James challenges us to show our faith through tangible expressions of care. It's easy to say "God bless you" to someone in need, but love demands we get involved—providing food, clothing, time, or presence. The service that costs is the service that counts. Jesus didn't just tell us He loved us; He demonstrated it by touching lepers, washing feet, and dying on a cross. Today, look for practical ways to show love. Carry someone's burden. Help with a task. Sacrifice your comfort for another's need. Let your hands express what your heart believes.
