Love in Every Action
Reading: 1 Corinthians 16:14, Colossians 3:14
Paul's instruction is comprehensive: do everything in love. Not most things or some things—everything. Love should clothe us like a uniform, binding us together in perfect harmony. This means loving when it's convenient and when it costs. Loving when we're honored and when we're insulted. Loving at work, in the grocery store line, with family, and with strangers. As you go through this week, let love be your filter for every decision and action. Before speaking, ask: "Is this loving?" Before acting, consider: "Does this reflect Christ's love?" Love is a verb that requires action. Let your life be a living demonstration that you belong to Jesus, showing the world what His transforming love looks like in everyday moments.
