Seeking Truth, Finding God
Reading: Psalm 25:4-11 and Deuteronomy 4:40
The psalmist's prayer captures the heart of pursuing truth: "Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me." We don't seek truth as an abstract concept—we seek the God who is truth itself. His instructions aren't designed to bring misery but to lead us into abundant life. Like a loving parent protecting a toddler from touching a hot stove, God's commands protect us from harm we cannot yet fully understand. As we mature spiritually, we begin to see His heart behind His guidelines. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness those who follow His covenant. Today, approach God not just for information, but for relationship. Ask Him to reveal His truth to you personally, and trust that His way leads to life.
