Day 2 of In Every Action...Love

Love as Our Identifying Mark

Reading: John 13:34-35

Jesus gave His disciples a new commandment—not a suggestion or recommendation, but a direct command: love one another as He loved them. This wasn't just any kind of love, but sacrificial, costly, uncomfortable love. Jesus made it clear that our love for each other would be the proof of our discipleship. People should be able to identify us as followers of Christ by how we treat one another before we ever speak a word about our faith. This week, examine your relationships. Are you known for your love? Do your actions toward fellow believers reflect Christ's compassion, forgiveness, and sacrifice? Let love be the uniform that identifies you as part of Jesus' team.
