Day 2 of Joy Comes in The Morning

Thankfulness in All Seasons

Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"All you have to do is say thank you." These simple words carry profound power. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we've lost to what we still have, from our pain to God's presence. Thanksgiving isn't denial of grief; it's acknowledgment that every breath, every relationship, every moment is a gift from God. When we say "thank you" in the midst of tears, we declare that God is still good, still faithful, still worthy. This practice doesn't erase the pain, but it prevents the pain from erasing our perspective. Today, even if it feels difficult, name three things you're grateful for. Let thankfulness become your pathway to peace.

Reflection: What gifts from God can you acknowledge today, even in difficulty?
