Day 3 of The Arrival of Love

The Greatest Gift

Reading: Luke 2:1-20; Romans 6:23

We exchange gifts at Christmas to show love and appreciation, but no gift we could ever give compares to what God gave us in Jesus. God gave us His most precious treasure—not because we earned it or deserved it, but simply because He loves us. The shepherds who first heard the good news weren't wealthy or important; they were ordinary people doing their jobs. This reminds us that God's gift is available to everyone, regardless of status or background. Salvation cannot be purchased or earned; it's freely given to all who believe. As you prepare gifts for loved ones this season, remember that you've already received the greatest gift imaginable. Let gratitude overflow from your heart, knowing that through Jesus, you have eternal life and an unbreakable relationship with the God who created you.

Reflection: How does receiving God's free gift of salvation change the way you give to others?
