Day 4 of The Arrival of Love

Called to Love Others

Reading: John 13:34-35; 1 John 4:11-12

When we truly grasp how deeply God loves us, it must transform how we love others. Jesus made it clear: our love for one another is the evidence that we belong to Him. This isn't a suggestion—it's a command. But it's also a privilege. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing His love to a hurting world. This means loving people even when they don't reciprocate, forgiving quickly, and extending grace repeatedly. Like a mother whose love never diminishes despite a child's mistakes, we're called to love with that same tenacity. People around you cannot see God physically, but they can see His love reflected through you. Your kindness to the cashier, your patience with difficult family members, your compassion for the lonely—these are all ways you make God's invisible love visible and real.

Reflection: Who in your life needs to experience God's love through your actions this week?
