Day 2 of Putting God First in Uncertainty
Keep Your Eyes on Jesus
Reading: Hebrews 12:1-3
When facing life's challenges, we're tempted to focus entirely on our problems—analyzing them, worrying about them, losing sleep over them. But the writer of Hebrews gives us a better strategy: keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. When you can't see a solution, when discouragement threatens to overwhelm you, shift your gaze from your situation to your Savior. Jesus endured the cross because of the joy set before Him—He knows about walking through difficulty with hope. Looking to Him doesn't make problems disappear, but it gives you the strength to take the next step. You weren't meant to run this race alone.
