Day 3 of Putting God First in Uncertainty
God Is Close to the Brokenhearted
Reading: Psalm 34:15-18
In seasons of grief and loss, it can feel like God is distant or has forgotten you. But Scripture tells a different story: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed." God doesn't stand far off from your pain—He draws near to it. You don't need to hide your grief or pretend everything is fine. God invites you to bring your broken heart to Him, to cry out in your darkest moments. His comfort may not remove the pain immediately, but His presence will sustain you through it. You are not walking through this valley alone. The God who created you is walking beside you, holding you up when you cannot stand on your own.
