Day 5 of Building Community

From Spectator to Participant

Reading: Romans 12:9-13; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Building community isn't a spectator sport. You cannot experience the fullness of church life from the sidelines. The body of Christ functions best when every member actively participates—loving genuinely, honoring others, serving faithfully, and sharing generously. The early church grew daily because their community life was so compelling that people were drawn to Jesus through it. You have a unique role to play that no one else can fill. Your presence matters. Your story matters. Your gifts matter. Today, move from asking "What can the church do for me?" to "How can I strengthen this community?" Show up. Open up. Serve. Encourage someone. The church becomes what God intended when we stop watching and start building together.
