Day 4 of Unified in Belief

Unity as a Witness

Reading: John 17:20-26; Acts 2:42-47

Jesus prayed that we would be one so that the world would know He was sent by the Father. Our unity isn't just for our benefit—it's a powerful testimony to a watching world. When people see believers from different backgrounds, with different preferences, choosing to love one another and stay unified despite differences, they witness something supernatural. The early church devoted themselves to fellowship, breaking bread together, and meeting each other's needs. Their unity was so compelling that people were drawn to Christ daily. Today's world is fractured and divided. What if the church became known not for what we oppose, but for how we love? Consider your relationships within your church family. Are you contributing to unity or division? Your choice to pursue peace is a witness to God's transforming power.

Reflection Question: How is my pursuit of unity (or lack thereof) affecting my witness for Christ?
