Day 4 of Putting God First in Uncertainty

Give Your Worries to God

Reading: 1 Peter 5:6-7; Matthew 6:25-34

We often carry burdens that were never meant for us to bear alone. Like children trying to solve their parents' financial problems, we sometimes take on worries that are too big for us to handle. Peter's instruction is simple but profound: "Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you." This isn't about being irresponsible or ignoring real problems. It's about recognizing that your worry doesn't add solutions—it only adds stress. God is both capable and willing to help you. When you pray about a situation, truly release it to Him. Stop trying to "help God" by continuing to carry what you've already given Him. Trust that your big problems are with a big God.

Reflection Question: What specific worry do you need to release into God's capable hands today?
