Day 1 of Following the Spirit's Lead

Following the Spirit's Lead

Reading
:  Acts 2:1-13

The disciples didn't orchestrate Pentecost—they simply waited, listened, and followed as the Spirit enabled them. Notice those crucial words: "as the Spirit enabled them." The most powerful moments of faith aren't the loudest or most dramatic; they're the ones where we genuinely follow God's leading. Perhaps it's sending an unexpected text to a struggling friend, offering kindness to a difficult neighbor, or giving sacrificially when prompted. The Holy Spirit works in ways we don't anticipate—sometimes through tongues, sometimes through timely conversations, sometimes through quiet obedience. This week, pause and listen. When you sense a gentle nudge to reach out, encourage, or serve, don't dismiss it. Follow as the Spirit enables you.
