When God Gives More Than We Ask
Reading: Acts 3:1-10
The lame beggar asked for money, but received healing. How often do we limit God by only asking Him to help us survive our crisis rather than transform it? Like this man, we sometimes don't recognize our deeper needs. We pray for financial provision when we need spiritual healing, or for temporary relief when God wants to address the root issue. God knows what we truly need better than we do ourselves. Today, examine your prayer life. Are you asking God merely to help you limp through your struggles, or are you allowing Him to heal you completely? Trust that God's answer may look different than your request—because He sees what you cannot and loves you enough to give you what you truly need, not just what you think you want.
