The Spirit Brings Freedom
Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17 and 2 Corinthians 3:17
"Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun." This isn't gradual improvement—it's radical transformation. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Freedom from guilt, shame, and the slavery of sin. Freedom from fear that once controlled us. Like the African orphans who sang "I'm no longer a slave to fear; I am a child of God," we too have been liberated. The Spirit doesn't just visit us occasionally; He dwells within us, continuously working to conform us to Christ's image. What areas of your life still feel bound? Invite the Holy Spirit to bring His liberating presence there today.
