Reading: Genesis 30:14-16; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; 1 Thessalonians 5:11
When Leah's son Reuben brought her mandrakes, it revealed something beautiful: her children loved her back. God's love often reaches us through human hands. He sends friends who text at the exact right moment, family members who show up when you need them most, strangers whose kindness restores your faith in humanity. Leah found affirmation not from the husband who overlooked her, but from the children who honored her. Stop demanding love from sources that cannot provide it. Instead, notice where love is already flowing. Who has God placed around you? Who sees your value when you feel invisible? Thank God for these people today. And consider: whose Leah are you called to be Reuben for? Someone needs the love you can offer.
