Day 3 of Following the Spirit's Lead

The Unity of Believers

Reading
:  Acts 2:42-47

Pentecost didn't just bring power—it brought profound unity. The believers devoted themselves to learning together, eating together, praying together, and sharing everything. Unity isn't uniformity; it's bringing our different strengths to work toward God's purposes together. Notice they broke bread in homes with "glad and sincere hearts." Church isn't just Sunday morning—it's lingering after service, sharing meals, introducing strangers, building genuine community. When we work together, tension naturally arises because we're different. But unity means choosing connection over convenience, relationship over routine. Next week, don't rush out after church. Stay. Chat. Invite someone to coffee. Introduce two people who don't know each other. Unity is built one conversation, one meal, one act of fellowship at a time.
