The Love That Casts Out Fear
Reading: 1 John 4:7-19
Perfect love casts out fear. This isn't merely a theological concept to understand intellectually—it's a reality to experience personally. Like a child resting peacefully on a parent's lap without anxiety, God invites you into that same trust. When you truly grasp His love, the fears that plague you—fear of rejection, failure, judgment—begin to dissolve. Today, consider what fears still grip your heart. Are you approaching God apologetically, or as a beloved child? God isn't waiting to criticize you; He's waiting to embrace you. Spend time in His presence, not trying to earn His love, but simply receiving it. Let His perfect love melt away one fear today.
