Day 4 of Following the Spirit's Lead

Repentance and Transformation

Reading
:  Acts 2:36-41

When the crowd heard Peter's message, they were "cut to the heart" and asked, "What shall we do?" Peter's answer was clear: "Repent and be baptized." Three thousand people responded that day. The Spirit's work brings conviction, and conviction leads to transformation. Repentance isn't just feeling sorry—it's turning around, changing direction, receiving forgiveness. The promise of the Holy Spirit isn't just for the original disciples; it's "for you and your children and for all who are far off." That includes you today. Perhaps you've been distant from God, caught in patterns that dishonor Him, or simply going through religious motions. The Spirit still calls. The invitation still stands. Respond with honesty. Turn toward Jesus. Experience the transformation that comes when God's Spirit fills your life.
