Day 5 of From Death to Resurrection

Living the Resurrection

Reading
: Romans 6:1-14

The resurrection didn't end at the tomb—it continues in your life today. Paul explains that when we accept Christ, we die to our old life and rise to new life with Him. This isn't just future hope; it's present reality. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to you now—power to overcome sin, break chains, heal wounds, and transform lives. You don't have to wait for heaven to experience resurrection life. Jesus is still writing His story in people today, still bringing hope to the hopeless, still calling people by name. Whatever Friday you're facing, whatever Saturday silence you're enduring, the resurrection declares: Jesus is alive, and He's still changing lives. Your story isn't over.

Reflection Question: What area of your life needs resurrection power today?

Closing Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You that Your story didn't end at the cross or in the tomb. Thank You that You are alive and active in my life today. Help me to live in the freedom and hope of the resurrection. When I face darkness, remind me that Sunday is coming. When I sit in silence, help me trust You're working. Speak my name and help me recognize Your voice. Transform my life by Your resurrection power. In Your mighty name, Amen.
