You Matter to God
Reading: 1 Samuel 1:1-20
Hannah's story reminds us that God sees us in our deepest pain. When everyone around her misunderstood her anguish—her husband minimized it, her rival provoked her, and the priest misjudged her—God remembered Hannah. He didn't look past her suffering or tell her to stop being emotional. Instead, He heard her prayer and answered it personally. Whatever loneliness, heartbreak, or misunderstanding you're experiencing today, know that God sees you completely. He doesn't dismiss your pain or compare it to others' blessings. You matter deeply to Him, and He remembers you by name. Your circumstances don't diminish your value in His eyes.
Reflection Question: In what area of life do you feel unseen or misunderstood? How does knowing God remembers you change your perspective?
