Day 5 of Mighty Name of Jesus
Protected by the Blood
Reading: Exodus 12:12-13, 21-23; Luke 22:14-20
Just as the blood on the doorframes protected the Israelites from death in Egypt, the blood of Jesus protects you today. On the doorframe of your life is the blood of Jesus Christ—a permanent mark that death and destruction must pass over. This isn't just ancient history; it's your present reality. When the enemy comes near with threats and accusations, he cannot cross the threshold marked by Jesus' sacrifice. You don't need to fear because you're covered by the Lamb who was slain. As you take communion, remember that Jesus is your Passover Lamb, and His blood speaks a better word over your life than any curse or condemnation. You are protected, purchased, and permanently His.
