Day 2 of Pressing On With Humility

 The Power of Perseverance

Reading
:   Philippians 3:12-14

Paul's words remind us that the Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. He hadn't "arrived," yet he pressed on with singular focus. The reward for hard work is often more hard work, but this shouldn't discourage us. Each challenge builds spiritual muscle for the next season. Fathers, the exhaustion of raising toddlers prepares you for navigating teenagers. Graduates, the discipline of your studies equips you for career demands. Don't quit when you're tired—rest, refuel, and resume. God doesn't call us to comfort but to faithfulness. Forget what lies behind—past failures and successes alike—and strain toward what's ahead. Your heavenly prize awaits.

Reflection: What challenge are you facing that requires perseverance? How can you take one step forward today?
