Day 5 of Living in the In-Between

Expecting God to Move

Reading
:  James 5:16; Ephesians 3:20-21

What would happen if we came to worship, to prayer, to our daily lives truly expecting God to show up? The early church gathered with anticipation, and God poured out His Spirit powerfully. We serve a God who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. But expectation requires faith—faith that believes God is present, active, and ready to work. Too often we go through the motions, forgetting that every moment with God's people is an opportunity for transformation. Someone could walk in broken and leave healed, not from our programs or performance but from God's presence. Today, shake off complacency. Come before God with holy expectation. Ask Him to do more—in your heart, in your family, in your church. Then watch and see what He will do. God is here, His Spirit is moving, and He's waiting for you to join Him ♥
