Day 4 of Beautiful and Qualified
You Are Made to Partner
Reading: Genesis 2:18-25
When God created Eve as Adam's "helper," He wasn't creating an assistant or servant—He was creating an equal partner. The Hebrew word used describes someone who comes alongside to make success possible, the same word used to describe God as our helper. God's design has always been mutual partnership, where different strengths complement each other. This applies beyond marriage to all relationships—siblings, coworkers, church communities. When we let insecurity drive us to competition or control, we miss the beauty of partnership. Success comes when we honor what others contribute and work together in unity, recognizing that God has uniquely equipped each person.
Reflection Question: Where in your life are you resisting partnership because of insecurity? How can you better honor the contributions of others?
