Day 2 of Finding Love in the Right Place
Heard in Your Heartbreak
Reading: Genesis 29:33; Psalm 40:1-3; 1 Peter 5:7
Leah's second son was named Simeon, meaning "the Lord heard that I am unloved." In her deepest loneliness, Leah discovered that God was listening. Perhaps you have cried out in relationships where your voice seemed to disappear, in situations where no one understood your struggle. God hears the prayers you whisper in the dark, the questions you're afraid to ask aloud, the grief you cannot articulate. Unlike human love that can be distracted or conditional, God's attention never wavers. He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. Your heartbreak matters to Heaven. The God who heard Leah's unspoken longing hears you too. Speak honestly to Him today about what hurts most.
