Day 5 of Following the Spirit's Lead

Made for More

Reading
:  Acts 1:4-8; John 14:15-17

Jesus told His followers to wait for the promised Holy Spirit—not as an optional add-on, but as essential power for the mission ahead. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you," He promised. We weren't designed to live the Christian life in our own strength. We were made for more—more than self-reliance, more than religious duty, more than going through the motions. The same Spirit who empowered those first believers dwells in you. He enables, guides, convicts, comforts, and empowers. Don't settle for powerless Christianity. Don't argue about theology while missing the relationship. Instead, cultivate sensitivity to His leading. Obey His promptings. Check His Word. Build His community. You were made for more than ordinary—you were made for Spirit-empowered, Christ-centered, world-changing life.
