Day 5 of Unified in Belief

Family on Purpose
Reading: Romans 12:3-18; 1 Peter 3:8-12
Being family isn't always easy. Like siblings who share the same home but have different personalities, church family requires intentional effort. We must actively choose unity, recognizing that the people closest to us can either be our greatest allies or our biggest irritants. Romans 12 calls us to honor one another, live in harmony, and as far as it depends on us, live at peace with everyone. This doesn't mean we'll never disagree—but it means we refuse to let disagreements destroy our unity. We share common beliefs, common values, and a common Savior. Today, think of someone in your church family with whom you've had tension. What do you share in common with them? How can you focus on your shared faith rather than your differences? Choose today to be family on purpose—intentionally pursuing unity, extending grace, and keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Reflection Question: What practical step can I take this week to strengthen unity in my church family?
