Day 2 of Hurt and Healing

Healing Is a Process, Not an Event

Reading: Genesis 39:19-23; 41:14-16; Romans 5:3-5

Joseph's journey from the pit to the palace took thirteen years—years of slavery, false accusations, and imprisonment. Healing rarely happens overnight. Like clay in the potter's hands, we are shaped through seasons of stretching, molding, and firing. God used every difficult circumstance in Joseph's life to develop his character and dependence on the Lord. Your current season of difficulty is not wasted time; it's preparation. The challenges you face today are developing endurance, strengthening your character, and deepening your hope. Trust that God is working even when you cannot see the progress. The Potter has a plan to transform you into something beautiful and useful.

Reflection: What difficult season are you in right now? How might God be using this to shape you rather than simply making your life hard?
