Day 5 of Hope Breaks the Darkness

Hope Is Our Anchor
Reading: Hebrews 6:13-20; 1 Peter 1:3-9
A lighthouse doesn't remove the storm—it guides boats through it to safety. Jesus doesn't promise to eliminate every hardship, but He does promise to be our anchor through every storm. Your inheritance is secure, kept in heaven, pure and undefiled. This hope leads us through the curtain into God's presence, anchoring our souls when waves threaten to capsize us. As you navigate this busy season and whatever storms you're facing, remember: you are God's glorious inheritance. Let your heart be flooded with light to understand the confident hope He's given you. The storm may rage, but your anchor holds firm in the eternal promises of God.
Reflection: What storm are you facing where you need Jesus as your anchor?
Closing Prayer: Father, flood our hearts with light that we may understand the confident hope You've given us. Help us see the small moments, trust Your character, respond with obedience, and remain anchored in You through every season. In Jesus' name, Amen.
