Day 3 of Unified in Belief

Keeping the Main Things Central

Reading: Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

One body. One Spirit. One hope. One Lord. One faith. One baptism. One God. These are the essentials that unite us as believers. In a world—and sometimes even in churches—where we can find endless things to debate and divide over, Paul reminds us to keep the main things central. The core of our faith is Jesus Christ—His death, resurrection, and lordship over all. When conflicts arise, we must pause and ask: Is this a matter of salvation and core doctrine, or is this a preference? Is this about Jesus, or is this about my comfort? Like passengers on a ship, we sink or sail together. Today, identify one area where you've allowed a secondary issue to create division. Choose unity over being right, and focus on what truly matters—the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reflection Question: What "secondary issues" have I allowed to become primary in my relationships?
