Day 4 of Building Community

Unity Reflects Christ

Reading: Ephesians 4:1-6; John 17:20-23

Jesus prayed that His followers would be unified so the world would know God sent Him. Our unity isn't optional—it's essential to our witness. When a church lives in genuine love and peace, it becomes irresistibly attractive because it reflects Christ Himself. But unity requires work. It means choosing grace over grudges, conversation over criticism, and humility over being right. The enemy knows that divided churches have no power, which is why he works overtime to create conflict among believers. Today, examine your heart. Are you contributing to unity or division? Make every effort to keep the bond of peace. Forgive quickly, assume the best, and pursue reconciliation. When we reflect Christ's love to each other, the watching world sees Him.
