Day 2 of The Arrival of Love

Love Made Concrete

Reading: John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:4-5

We live in a world desperate for something real, something tangible we can hold onto. God answered that longing by sending Jesus—not as a distant idea or abstract concept, but as a breathing, crying, vulnerable baby. This is love made concrete. God didn't just tell us He loved us; He showed us through the ultimate sacrifice. The manger in Bethlehem was the beginning of redemption. When you look at the Christmas story, you're not seeing religious mythology—you're witnessing God's love entering our world of pain and suffering because He cares enough to meet us right where we are. Jesus arrived knowing He would one day carry the weight of our sin to the cross, yet He still came. That's how much you matter to God.

Reflection: What does it mean to you personally that God's love required concrete action—sending His Son?
