Day 3 of Peace, Finding Rest in the Midst of Chaos

Peace Through Reconciliation
Reading: Romans 5:1-2
"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Before Jesus, humanity lived in broken relationship with God—separated by sin, distant from our Creator. Jesus didn't come primarily to fix political systems or eliminate earthly conflicts. He came to restore what mattered most: our relationship with God. This reconciliation is the foundation of all other peace. When you know you're right with God, when you're confident in His love and acceptance, when you understand that nothing can separate you from Him, a deep peace settles in your soul. External storms may rage, but your core identity and eternal security remain unshaken. This is the peace that changes everything—not because life becomes easier, but because you're no longer facing it alone or uncertain about where you stand with God.
Reflection: How does knowing you have peace with God change how you face daily challenges?
