Day 4 of Don't Give Up

 Don't Stop, Don't Give Up

Reading
:  Acts 9:20-31; Galatians 1:11-24

Saul's heart changed quickly, but his reputation took much longer. The Jews wanted to kill him for preaching Christ. The disciples feared him, remembering his violence. He was threatened and rejected from both sides. Yet he didn't give up. When you sense God's call, all other voices must be drowned out.
Growth requires persistence through discomfort. Change is wonderful and exciting, but it's also hard. You may face skepticism from those who remember who you used to be. You may struggle with your own doubts. But God is with you. The church eventually "had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger." Your faithfulness in the uncomfortable seasons contributes to God's larger work. What would happen if you didn't stop? What breakthrough awaits on the other side of perseverance? Don't give up. God is with you.
