Day 5 of Don't Give Up

Seeing Yourself as God Sees You

Reading
:  Psalm 139:1-18; Romans 8:1-2

God sees beyond your mistakes and failures. He looks at you and sees potential long before anyone else—including yourself—recognizes it. Like a sculptor seeing a masterpiece in raw clay, God envisions who you're becoming. This doesn't excuse sin, but it means condemnation isn't His voice. If guilt overwhelms you, that's not God speaking. He is gentle and loving, even in correction.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God's thoughts toward you outnumber the grains of sand. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Stop seeing yourself through the lens of past failures, others' opinions, or your own harsh self-judgment. Ask God today: "Help me see myself the way You see me." You are His chosen instrument. You are His beloved child. You are being transformed into Christ's image. Let this truth flood your heart with light and confident hope.
