Day 4 of Standing Strong in the Storm

Keep Your Armor On

Reading
:  Ephesians 6:10-18

In discouragement, we unknowingly remove our spiritual armor piece by piece. The battlefield image is powerful: we sit defeated, armor cast aside, while the battle still rages. God's call to us is simple but urgent: "Get up. Put your armor back on. Keep fighting." Each piece matters—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word. Notice that prayer isn't a piece of armor; it's the atmosphere in which we wear it all. Discouragement whispers, "You're done. You can't continue." But like a trainer pushing for two more reps, God says you have more strength than you realize—His strength. Today, specifically put on each piece of armor through prayer. Name them. Claim them. Stand firm. The battle isn't over, and neither are you.
