Day 5 of Standing Strong in the Storm

God Uses Broken Vessels

Reading
:  2 Corinthians 1:3-7

Paul healed others while wearing shipwrecked clothes on a shipwrecked beach. The cargo was lost, the ship destroyed, yet God's calling remained intact. Your brokenness doesn't disqualify you—it often qualifies you. The comfort God gives in your suffering becomes the comfort you offer others in theirs. You're not too broken, too messed up, or too far gone to be used by God. In fact, when you feel emptiest, you depend most fully on His strength, and He works most powerfully through you. Your past pain becomes your present ministry. Today, consider: What difficult experience has God brought you through? Who in your life might need the comfort you received? God wastes nothing. After suffering "a little while," He restores, supports, strengthens, and establishes you. Your shipwreck has purpose.

Closing Prayer: Father, thank You that storms don't mean You've abandoned us. Help us stand firm in faith, refuel in Your Word, keep our armor on, and trust that You can use us even in our brokenness. May we be living testimonies that You are faithful through every trial. In Jesus' name, Amen.
