Day 2 of Found and Celebrated
You Are Worth Pursuing
Reading: Luke 15:1-7
In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus describes a shepherd who leaves ninety-nine sheep to search for the one that wandered off. The math does not make practical sense, and that is entirely the point. God's pursuit of a person is not calculated by odds or efficiency. It is driven by love. The sheep did not find its way back on its own. It was found. There is profound comfort in recognizing that your worth to God is not determined by how well you have performed, how far you have strayed, or how long you have been lost. He came looking for you. He still does.
Personal Reflection: Have you ever felt too far gone, too broken, or too ordinary to matter to God? How does the image of the shepherd leaving the ninety-nine challenge that belief?
