Day 4 of Small Beginnings, Persistent Faith

 Planted, Not Forgotten

Reading
: Psalm 27:1-14

There are seasons in life that feel less like growth and more like burial. You are surrounded by darkness. The process is invisible. Nothing appears to be happening. But a seed buried in the ground is not abandoned; it is planted. The darkness is not punishment; it is preparation. The psalmist knew this tension well, crying out with honest longing while simultaneously declaring confidence in God's goodness. He chose to wait patiently, not passively, but with courage and expectation. If you find yourself in a dark and buried season today, hold on to this truth: God has not forgotten you. You are not lost. You are planted, and growth is coming.

Reflection Questions:
  • How do you typically respond when God feels distant or silent during a season of waiting?
  • What does it mean practically to wait with both patience and courage at the same time?
