Day 1 of Producing Fruit
The Vineyard Was Always His
Reading: Isaiah 5:1-7
God did not plant the vineyard and walk away. He built the wall, dug the winepress, and erected the watchtower. Every provision was made before a single grape was expected. This is the character of the God who calls us to fruitfulness. He does not demand what He has not first equipped. Before asking anything of Israel, He gave them everything they needed. Before asking anything of you, He has done the same. As you read today, resist the urge to focus on the failure of the vineyard. Instead, sit with the generosity of the one who planted it.
Reflection: What has God already placed in your life that equips you to produce fruit for His kingdom?
