Day 3 of The Process of Redemption

 The Perspective of Eternity

Reading
:   2 Corinthians 4:16-18; Romans 8:18

A railroad spike must endure intense heat and repeated hammering before becoming a useful blade. The process is loud, uncomfortable, and repetitive—but purposeful. Paul calls our troubles "light and momentary" not because they feel insignificant, but because eternity dwarfs them. He wasn't minimizing suffering; he was maximizing perspective. When you fix your eyes on what is unseen—the eternal glory being prepared—present pain finds its proper proportion. This doesn't make hardship pleasant, but it makes it bearable. The forge is hot, the hammer falls, but the Master Craftsman knows exactly what He's creating. Your current chapter isn't your complete story.

Reflection Question: How does viewing your current struggle through the lens of eternity change your response to it?
