Trials Grow Our Faith
Reading: James 1:2–4; 1 Peter 1:6–7
Trials are not lessons God forces on us—they are opportunities for growth in a broken world. Scripture teaches that difficulties refine our faith like fire refines gold. This process is uncomfortable, but it produces strength, endurance, and deeper trust in God. Reflect today on a current or past trial and consider how it has shaped your character or your walk with God. Ask Him to continue building perseverance in you. For a practical step, write a short prayer committing to trust God “even if,” like the three men in the furnace, choosing faith regardless of circumstance.
